A Safe Space for Brave Creatives Post Election
Those who create content, create culture.
Election seasons are hard on us all—but for those who shape how the world sees itself, it’s especially heavy. Advertising influences culture, and as creatives, we carry the weight of that responsibility.
Our creative teams are waking up to fear, uncertainty, and a new layer of worry about the work we do.We created this grounding session because we believe in creatives. Its one of the founding statements of our company, along with “those who create content, create culture.”
Creative teams who work inclusively and bravely influence the world for the better, regardless of who the President is. But that impact only happens when we feel safe, grounded, and empowered to bring our whole selves into the work. So we’re offering this space for you to pause, reflect, and find community.
Your creative team is hurting
Studies show that mental health concerns spike during election seasons, especially within diverse communities—LGBTQIA+ folks, disabled people, BIPOC individuals, and creatives living with ADHD or other neurodivergences. These groups often face unique, heightened fears and uncertainties during times of political change and Project 2025 is bone-chilling scary for all of these communities. They will be disproportionately impacted by the results of this election, and they are scared.
Your team is hurting, whether you realize it or not.
Our commitment at Misfit Media has always been to teach creative teams how to make their work more equitable, more intentional, and more inclusive through frameworks and systems. The election results may shift our strategies, but they don’t change our purpose. Let us help you turn pain and despair into hope and action.

As creatives, we are culture makers. What we make, say, and share influences minds and sets trends. We may feel defeated, tired, and scared but we are not powerless. This session will offer a space to renew our sense of purpose and remind us why we do what we do.

The strongest message we can offer each other on this day is “You’re not alone.” We’ll hold this space together, committed to each other’s bravery and to using our voices to create change—now and always.
